Sankofa Abusua Fie houses shrines of the Abosom and Mmoatia. We choose the name Sankofa to underscore our purpose - to go back and reclaim our culture in order to guide our behavior and secure our destiny.
Statement of Nia: Our African Spiritual development classes focus on the Akan tradition of West Africa. Our discussions include other African traditions as well. The purpose of our group is to assist the personal and collective growth and development of people of historic African ancestry. We encourage and welcome you to join our class sessions and Akoms (spiritual celebrations). Akwaaba (welcome) to our family.
