AFFIDAVIT

BLACK MAN’S INTER-STATE SAFE PASSAGE TRAVEL VOUCHER

Purpose of Affidavit: To eliminate or minimize all potential conflict and/or problems that may arise, as a result of when a Black Man is stopped by police authorities.

Definitions:

Affidavit A sworn statement in writing made especially under oath or on affirmation before an authorized magistrate or officer. (Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary, p.20)

Notary Public: A public officer who attests or certifies writings (as a deed) to make them authentic and takes affidavits, depositions and protests of negotiable paper. (Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary, page 778)

The Problem: Every Black Man (18 and older), or every Black teenager, (13 years old to 17 years old) or every Black child (4 years old to 12 years old) in amerika is a possible target for being stopped by a city police officer, state trooper, sheriff, county police officer, undercover officer, or school officer, for no apparent reason or for “looking suspicious” while driving a vehicle or walking.

According to the laws of this country, any official police officer has a right to stop “suspicious persons” who might pose a threat to the welfare of the community. However, statistics show that police officers often mistake upright citizens for “criminals” and this mistaken identity causes great distress for the innocent. In order to stave off and neutralize police officer mistakes, this Black Man’s Inter-State Safe Passage Travel Voucher has been created to assist Black Men, Black Male Teenagers, and Young Black Children.

Since I have stated everything that is relevant about myself in this Affidavit, which is an official legal document, and am in compliance with all local, state and federal commerce and highway codes/statutes/laws/rules/regulations, you may not search my vehicle. If you do so it will indicate you are engaged in “racial profiling” and have used your authority as a pretext to stop me because you are white and you are violating all federal and state laws regarding my rights and I will have my attorney contact your superiors regarding my lawsuit against you and your agency.

This document created by Dr. Kamau Kambon for the purpose of combating “racial profiling", "Driving While white people are being white and to eliminate the possibility of any Man being shot or killed by a white police officer who uses his authority as a pretext to practice white domination by terrorizing law abiding Black Men. (June 16-June 27, 2004)

Deeper, this document is designed to minimize all talk between the cop and the Brother-because the talk escalates into "can I search your vehicle"?

    * Always keep your license and registration in an envelope, on the dash board-especially at night-you do not want to be fumbling around in your glove compartment looking for your registration-cops use this as a great excuse to kill you-"I thought he had a weapon"

*If stopped at night, turn on your interior light and keep both hands on the steering wheel

*You can also attach the business card of your attorney, as you hand the cop the Affidavit
